Do things happen for a reason?

I sure hope they do cause a lot of crazy crap has been going on in my life these past couple of months and I hope it's all for not. Sometime I sit here and think I want something to go one way, and it does for a while then out of nowhere does a complete 180 on me and I'm sent spiraling in a totally diff direction deff not where I thought I was headed. Then something's I thought I had under controll I realize I never did. It is really a vicious cycle.

Friends is a deep word

Seems like lately I have outgrown most of my friends. I have very few true friends. Life long friends. I truly have less than 10 friends who r life long friends. I may not talk them everyday. I may not see them everyday. But I think those people will be with me no matter where my life may take me. We have stuck by each other through thick and thin. And I don't want anything to come between us.

Guess what, I am sick and tired of kissing everyone's ass. I've been doing it way to F-ing long and im done. Life is way to short for me not to live my life. I wanna enjoy my days here. And I am that it that's all. Peace

You ever notice people will tell you something then they say "but". Like he did very well today "but" Now here comes the truth. Why don't they just say the truth from the beginning like he did not listen today when he was in school so his day was ok. That way u know what is going on from the get. I think that would save us a lot of time.

On the green side of the grass

Well the last two days I spent at jury duty. Although I did not get selected it was a very intresting process. This was my first time ever having to go to jury duty so I have never seen how things actually work. I went in thinking that I did not want to serve, but after seeing the attorneys go back and forth i might be up to serving on a criminal preceding. I def did not to serve on the the case that I was up for because they said it could take 12-14 if not longer, and it was a civil case. On to the topic "The green side of the grass" A potential juror said he was glad to wake up on the green side of the grass. I thought that was a good quote. Now that I think about it if u wake up u r on the green side of the grass unless u met some mobsters and did them wrong. Still I do like the quote. "On the green side of the grass"

In between the panels

Life in between the panels. I guess that is what happens in between stuff u remember. On Sunday Caiden and I had fun doing yard work. He helped me by using his 4wheeler to tow around a "trailer" with all my tools. Monday the kids and I rode our bike to a new playground on the river one we had been to many times but had never riden our bikes there. Then on Tuesday Caiden and I went to the splash park and played in the water. So tha brings me to the Topic. "What happen between the panels". For those that don't know panels r in comic books. When reading a comic all u see is panels of important stuff to make the story interesting. As in life what is not so important we don't usually remember ie. What lies between the panels.

Well as of today I can honestly say " Caiden is pretty much potty trained". It s pretty amazing that two weeks ago he would poop in his pants, then one day the light comes on. Guess what mommy and daddy I pooped in my potty. Ever since he goes on the potty as long as he has his privacy. He's just like his daddy needs to poop alone. The best part is he'll do it with out us being there. My baby is getting to be a big boy.

I want to start a new work out program called insanity. It is supposed to be really intense. Well I think I will start because there is no better time than the present. Here goes nothing and wish me luck.

My wife just posed a good question as we r sitting here on our iPads and iPhones. What did we do before we had all the gadgets and computers to keep us busy? I remember watching a lot more tv video games when I was younger, but what about before electronics? I sure the conversations were a lot longer I'm sure there was a lot of action in the bedroom. What ever was done I'm pretty sure it's a lot diff. Than now a days.

Busy Busy Busy

The last two and a half days have been very intresting to say the least. Sat. Morning we got up way to early to clean out our garage. It was a great chance to work on it and it not be to extremely hot out. We all know how hot it can get in Florida. So as my wife finished up the garage I went to play basketball, as I do on Sat. Morning. Not a great showing but well worth the excercise. Came back home felt great to get out on the bike and ride especially when your hot and sweaty. I digress. I come back home and my great wife is still hard at work. The garage turned out amazing. Next on the agenda watch the Gator game which the lost in overtime. This has truly been one of the craziest NCAA Tourmnments I have ever seen. Next up sleep over at grandmas (Karen) played some flash light tag (hide and go seek in the dark) lots of fun. Then comes time to go to sleep out in tents which if anyone knows me Im not a tent kinda guy but I do it for everyone else. Worst sleep I have gotten in a really long time. I was cold craped and restless. But one thing prevailed I had my love by my side and it was great to snuggle up to her to keep warm, and finally I slept. Next morning up and at em Mickey mouse waffles Carter to his mom and off to start some lawn mataintance. Can I get an hour of sleep in between all of this and being back out to Scotts b-day lunch. Knock knock knock. It's the kid neighbor who likes to interupt my mid morning nap.

New places

Trying a new restaurant tonight. The girls r not to excited to go some where they have never been or don't know where we r going. Most times I'm not a person who try's new things but lately I have been apt to try new things which was very rare in the past. As I get older I feel the changes that r occurring in my life. I'm getting oler which is great cause I feel like I'm getting a little wiser with age.

Hate to see it end like it did but (Kyle Singler) had one of the all time great careers at Duke University. One he'll of a player he gave it his all every single play. He never backed down from anyone or any challenge. I would love to see my kids have have the heart and hustle of that young man right there

Phones

So when u call someone and u get there voicemail it normally says leave your name # and a brief message. What am I 5. I know that they want your name # and a message. "Urgh" what about when u call a place of business and they immediately say "can u hold please" I want to tell them no I don't want to hold I called to talk to someone not to wait on hold.

Ok at work today doing my usual stuff. There has got to be more excitement for today. Changed up my twitter page to put up some LBJ. The McD's strawberry lemonade was not that good so bascily I think it sucks. Plus I ordered sweet and sour souce and just and typical fast food style they forgot it so guess who was not happy when they got back to work.

There r some crazy people in this world..... Or maybe I'm crazy and there all sane. Either way we r all on this marble they call earth all stuck together. Got a lot of stuff done today. Which was kind of good I guess. It might be just me and I know it drives my wife insane but I love to watch movies, and I love to watch them over and over. I also like to watch sports so when u combine sports and movies and make a sports movie u get awesome. My best friend came over today with his wife and son, I like to see my littlest one playing with other kids his age. It's a little difficult to see my oldest son going outside and playing by him self with the neighborhood kids. I think i am a little nervous or just over protective, he just been through so much that last couple of years I hate seeing anything else happen to him. Well enough is enough. See ya in the am.

Wow so far today has been intresting. Been to a funeral which makes u think. Tommorow is not garnteed. I have been inspired to try to be a better, in all things I do. Most times (well all the time) im' a laid back type of guy, but I think in need to revamp.
